Thank you so much for the hugs and support. Turns out that the clinic doc was just trying to cover his a$$. The EKG they took at the clinic was normal for H and everything checked out at the ER normally. So it is back to a pulled muscle and a day off from work.
Lil, I do not know if the doc would talk to H about his drinking, but would be willing to put a bug in his ear prior to H's next physical.
Re: the cell phone. Thanks for the validation that I did nothing wrong by not having it with me. I was scared that my laxness with the cell would cost us this time. I have a history of forgetting to take it, not turning it on, and letting the battery run down. H gets pretty cranky with me when he can't get ahold of me. Which I was sure wasn't doing him any good yesterday. As soon as he called me with an update I told him I loved him.
All is well here, H wanted to ML this AM to make sure everything was in working order.
Tomorrow is Hs birthday. I have to get to planning so we can celebrate.
