Gabe,

You should have waited to go to the show until S6 could go. he he he. Just being facetious because it still bugs me that this lady brought all her kids to the show. Look on the brightside Gabe. At least you aren't like the one guy that pined away 3 years for a girlfriend he went out with for only 4 months. On the other hand, our Xs could think the same of us that she did of him. Uh oh. Talk to you later

Hey T,

My Dad's doing pretty well - up and around, slowly getting better. Thanks for asking.

Somewhat of a blah day. Did laundry early am. Then a dentist appt. The hygenist asked me about XW, so I told her about the D. She seemed amazed by this, as she knew us both for a bit. I hate going thru that. Actually worked at the studio in the afternoon, before picking up S6.

S6 and I enjoyed our visit after school today. He told me with concern, that when he prayed for his family to get back together, XW prayed that the family stay apart. He seemed crushed by this, and asked why God hasn't answered his prayers. A delicate topic. I noted that God works in His own time/way, and our prayers get answered, but sometimes in ways we don't expect.

At dropoff, XW strutted up in tight workout clothes and said, "Great news! My condo will be ready at the end of Sept!" (1 mo earlier than she had told me). I smiled at her, said "good", turned away and kissed S6 on the head and said goodnight, and walked back to my truck. Reality is that she should have been out of my house several months ago. I'm not about to hold my breath, as I'll wait to see it actually happen, at this point.
