Reviewing yesterday, it was nice. I got to go to Mass with S6 in the am. Sat w/ his class - kids looked cute in their uniforms, S6 spiffy in his tie. Had to talk to him quietly about not licking his tie then trying to stick it to the side of his face.
After school, he got to pickout a toy from BDay money sent by family. No luck on suspenders yet. May have to order online, as they're not quite the fashion item anymore. Who knew!
At pickup, XW was friendly, and suggested indirectly that I go to a Yoko Ono art show (her stuff and Lennon's) in town, as she had gone after work. I was pleasant and quashed a desire to ask if Ono's painting was as good as her singing. I didn't think that sort of humor would be well-placed. She noted that she might try to take S5 camping this weekend. I just smiled and nodded, again saying nothing about the remnants of Hurricane Katrina making this area sopping wet and very muggy. I'm sure she can make the call and face the reality of her decision. Wished her a nice weekend and left.
I'm going to a 3-4 hr class on children that I need to complete so I can volunteer at S6's school. Not the way I want to spend a big part of my Sat, but it'll be good for us in the long run. Tonight, I'm going to see the 40yo Virgin with a MF. Figure it'll be a good way to laugh about my sitch a bit.
Bruce, I got nothin. I'm absolutely clueless about XW, my state of mind, and my feelings toward her. Convos with OW might help to clear that up. Or cloud things more.
