I do have a fire lit under me. Guess what? Some a-hole cop was parked on the runway where we needed to land. We passed over at like 50 feet 5 or 6 times so he couldn't help but know we wanted to land there. I cost the business some money (which hopefully can just get written off), but I finally told the pilot to just fly home. The beauty of the trip was I brought my laptop and worked on my book. Got some really good stuff written (in my opinion). I was incorporating some of this stuff that we deal with daily so it came pretty natural. Now I'm really stoked about the book. My long term goal in this regard is to average 2 pages a day and finish by the end of the year. What's that, about 300 pages? I'm kicking myself now for putting this on hold for so long, but I was stuck and didn't have the willpower to push through it.
Bruce, do you mind if I use your previous poem in my book?
In the end, it's not the years in your life that count. It's the life in your years. Abraham Lincoln
It is hard to fail, but it is worse never to have tried to succeed. Theodore Roosevelt
