I'd suggest the playing it cool route, like you've been very busy. One thing you could do is try to be very busy with as much as possible. Check into some hobbies or revisit some you used to do. Let her contact you. I don't think that avoiding phone calls and not returning e-mails is the right thing. You are not a rude person; that isn't you. BE YOURSELF. But if she calls or writes make sure your response is very friendly and confident, just short.
