I like the second choice. I like the idea of you moving out, going semi dark and working on yourself. But ONLY if you work on yourself. Go ahead back to the gym, lose the weight, make YOURSELF happy. Truly happy. This is not about making him THINK you are happy, it's about BEING happy yourself. Don't be alone, meet some people. Join a club, get out.
