KNOCK ... KNOCK ...

So, today the watchword is PATIENCE -- I'm going to look for ways to practice it.

I had to smile when I read this. For as long as we have been at this ... for as often as that word has been typed around here ... with all the practice we have had so far to get where we are at with DBing ... we should be old pro's at being patient ... and yet it doesn't seem any easier in doing so.

Now I know I've been away from this bb for a while, but to be away to come back to hear your five months pregnant ... ... anyway, please let me extend some much belated CONGRADULATIONS !!!!!!!!

... and its never too late to do ...

oh... and that goes for becoming a moderator here too ... no one is more deserving. The way you are sooo giving of yourself on this bb, you have one of the biggest hearts I have ever seen ... and your advise is always expertly given. ... and its hard to pop in here low key like without you knowing about it!

As you have asked for an update, I figured rather that hijack Slowly's thread, I'd come here ... so here it goes (hopefully without turn this into a novel) ...

As we all have come to know, often when we go into anything with expectations often we get disappointed. Unfortunately for me this one lessons I haven't learn so well and with all my hopes when CAW coming home at the end of 2004 ... 2005 became a disappointing year for me. All was great for the first two months ... then with ups & downs thru out the rest of the year that continued the rollcoaster-like M. CAW still struggles with her depression. There has been two deep bouts this year (one in April and again in September) where she felt trapped and wanted out, but now knows she would be no better off on her own. And for the better, there was one less thing for me to contend with this year and that is OM is definitely out of the picture. For much of the rest of the time during our daily lives we've been getting along much better than we had in several years ... so overall most days are better than they use to be. So now I'm looking ahead to make 2006 better than 2005. If I can do that, then we will have a streak going.

Well that's the short, short version. A couple of times I have considered starting a new thread, but the day-to-day stuff just seems to suck up all the time I would need to finger peck my posts ... still eventho I don't recognize anymore most of the names around the neighborhood, I'm pretty sure I'll be poking in from time to time ... and somehow I bet you'll know I've been around ... maybe you can tell me how you & JJ do that!?

'til later,
KAW
