Did you slam his fingers in the door? If not, then it wasn't cold enough. Just kidding. Yeah, play hard to get. Leave him guessing.

Today I went to a friend's house and we had dinner out this evening which I hardly ever do.

This will be a short post as I had so much red wine I'm still sloshed

I've also booked a day trip to Sherwood Forest Farm Park this coming Wednesday, which was great because nobody wanted to go so I got free tickets!

Too bad no one is around to take advantage of you in your inebriated state.

I imagine you're just going to see all the merry men running around in their tights.

Wine sounds good right about now.

There weren't any men in tights last year when I went, just a lot of fluffy bunny rabbits - not the same thing, really, is it?

Hey Jo,

Wow! I just realized you are from THE Nottingham (not sure if there's another). As an American, its very cool to think about someone living where the Sheriff of Nottingham hung out and going to a kids park in the Sherwood Forest.

Brings me back to about 8-9 yrs of age, reading Robin Hood for the first time...

Hope you have fun with DD4.

Gabe

LOL Gabriel

Yes it is THE Nottingham, there is only one Nottingham.

My father opened a Greek Taverna in Lincoln (about an hour away) when I was 8. Then when I fell in love with Andy, the relatives did not approve so we decided to move far enough away that we could still keep in touch but not so close that they would be on the doorstep all the time.

So we chose Nottingham to live in as it was 50 miles away from the parents!

Incidently, I visited Sherwood Forest many times as a child and I now take DD4 there every year. I've seen the Major Oak which is still there, but with fencing round it now, as the tree is like 900 years old. It still had green leaves on it last time I checked!

And me and Andy actually got married at Nottingham Castle, which is where the Sheriff of Nottingham was supposed to live.

We had our wedding buffet in the castle's restaurant!

Well, I have now had my period for this cycle which finished on 1st August which means it's all systems go now.

The fertility drugs and syringes will be arriving on next Thursday morning and I have to store them in my fridge.

I will get hauled back to the clinic the following Thursday to be taught how to give myself injections, and they will administer the first dose. Then after that I will have a further 11 days of injections that I have to do myself at home, before the surgery.

I can't believe the drugs will be here in a week. It's getting scarily close.

Jo.
