Sorry, I don't know the time difference from me to you. It's late morning in Wisc.

Hi

It's 4.30pm here and I'm cooking spuds as they take 2 hours to do.

I'm okay, just hanging out with DD4, doing chores etc.

Am going to a beach resort tomorrow for the day.

I'm just hanging out w/youngest s today and doing chores also! Oldest s17 went to a midieval fest. Later I'm taking s9 to McDonald's playland and ordering us happy meals!

Have fun at the beach tomorrow and hope the weather is great for it!

I've been toying around with a site for my latest book, esp. in light of publisher's tax problems.

It's only a trial site for a week, but I'm hoping to buy it next week!

What do you reckon?

The book's not available to buy yet but it will be in the next few weeks.

Temparory site address: http://2-minute-Website.com/site/jojo1977.trial/

Jo,

This looks great! I hope the publisher's tax problem is not going to hinder the publication of your book. The cover looks awesome, I will be buying one soon.

Hi jdd

Thanks! No, the publisher is still doing my book, it's just the tax man has bitten him and he's not managing to make any profit so he's struggling.

I gave him some suggestions for changing his website to increase sales and I've linked him into my site, which I am getting a permanent domain for next week.

He's changing his book list into categories on my suggestion (categories sell more, rather than A-Z) and as I've told him, he won't have any trouble making money from my book!

Yes, the cover is great. He did it. He did the front cover from my design ideas, I wrote the blurb for the back cover and a model agency took the photo of me after I won a make-over competition

Thanks for your support, jdd!

Jo.

Jo,

Those are great ideas that you gave him, I managed a books, music and video store for abt. 5 yrs so I know you on right on target. Sometimes I put certain books in more than one cat. to boost sales.

The title of your book is irresistable, it is going to sell big time. Will it be in major book stores in the US like Barnes & Nobles? I hope they jump off the shelf.

You deserve a compliment on your book cover, you do look like a Greek Goddess!!!

Hey Jo,

The book looks great! I'm excited for you. I saw my blurp on it - wow! Very cool. I feel like a rock star!

You deserve every bit of positive attention from this work, Jo. I hope you enjoy it.

I as well am glad that you continue to post, and don't feel a bit discouraged when you are going thru a rough bit. Probably, b/c I see you working hard at the GAL stuff.

Take care,

Gabriel

Hi jdd

The book will be on Barnes and Noble.com and other places and I think I could have it in store if they liked it.

It will also have a library of congress number which I presume means I can put it in US libraries. I have my other books in some libraries in the UK and I made quite a lot on the sale.

I get paid more if you buy direct from the publisher, though, as it cuts out the middle man!

Thanks Gabe,

I've been pretty down lately, esp. knowing he is visiting his wench this weekend, and when he invited me to DD2's birthday that made me feel really sad because of OW 1 and 2 being there, and loads of home ed people who probably hate me.

It's worse because as well as it being DD2's birthday, it will also be EX-OW's birthday, as they share the same date of birth.

When he invited me, I knew it was EX-OW's 47th party as well as my DD's 8th - UGH!!!!!!! As far as I can see, if she doesn't move, I will never see another one of DD2's birthdays, as it will always be HER day and he won't separate the two.

It's crazy, her bf lives there. I don't know why she doesn't leave. The whole sitch is weird.

I criticized X for it the other day and he just said it was great because it's like 'living on a commune' - ugh, that's not my idea of stability.

Anyway, I felt awful today knowing he was with OW2 and thankful I had other plans. Then there's that kiss he sent me which has left me so confused.

I basically don't have a clue what's going on anymore and I feel as if I am standing in the middle of a crowded room, screaming my lungs out and no one notices me.

But never mind, I'll get on with my GAL update on a different post.

Jo.
