H is back!!! I have not yet seen him. He called me after he got home. He said his phone ran out of battery, and had to get it charged first at home. H seemed very cheerful..told me that he's having breakfast near our home, inquired where I was (DUh?? At work!!!). He told me about his contract for the new job. He was about to sign it when he saw that they have put-in that he was going as a SINGLE....and then he said he told them that the family will join him in January, and they should amend the contract to include FAMILY, then he will sign the amended contract (This is good right? That he is thinking of us joining him in January?) He still sounded really cheeful, and added that he will talk to his direct superior informally today, and then only submit his official resignation on Monday. Told him that I was getting my company car today, and our convo led to the sale of our personal cars...and that led to talk about a friend. He was very amused about this friend of ours, being quoted in the newspaper and all... He told me that he is trying to delay his trip away (to sort out details for the new job) so that he could be around for S8's party. Then, I cut short the convo as the line was kinda bad and I could hardly hear him...and he ended the call "talk to you again later" (could hear a smile from that...)
So, all and all...it's quite positive, except that I think I sounded quite weird by being calm and cool...and devoid of emotions. The only time I perked up was when he talked about our friend...that sort of took the spotlight off and I think I relaxed enough to giggle abit...
Spent more time making more light sabres last night... Printed some posters (Star Wars theme, of course) for the decoration...I still have to sort out the party food and party packs. It is kinda stressful...planning a party. BUt at least it takes my mind of my sitch.
