I’ve written and deleted three different answers to this already. Nothing really seems to accurately say what I’m thinking. I start trying to do specifics and end up getting bogged down. The fact is that there are some similarities in how I perceive the two of you. On a scale of one to ten, where one is complete opposites and ten is clones, I would give you two a fairly strong four. On the issue of sex: a two.
LOL. I'm trying to figure out why this wasn't a one. I will assume this is due to the fact that your wife and HP are both monogamous women who don't have leather fetishes.

Hey, no biggie, zbube. I was just curious since you and the mister have so much in common.
Jenny and I are both ebullient sistas with high drives but we have our differences as well. You and MrHP on the other hand, are so similar it's downright weird. Except that MrHP is side splittingly funny. I've seen you crack a joke or two but he would not be able to participate in a bb without being the clown of the place. Other than that, though, it's eery. I tell him that God broke the mold when he was born and here I was wrong.
Yep, that’s about it. W is faithful and, although it isn’t very often, she does occasionally even initiate. So they’re not total opposites and therefore don’t meet the criteria I set up for my one to ten scale.
Given that the only time I've gone 13 years without sex was the first 13 years of my life, I would have to say that she and I do not share many sexual similarities!
My W & I are both loners. It's a pretty good match. However, we are loners for differednt reasons. W doesn't like people, and has a hint of social anxiety. She will go out grocery shopping Sunday morning at 6AM in order to avoid crowds. She has a hard time being by herself, though, and one of her biggest complaints in our relationship has been when I have left her alone (because of too much working or going to school part time).
I just enjoy solitude. I like to go out to lunch by myself with something to read. It recharges me. I like people and enjoy them when I am with them, but I don't go out of my way to seek them out.
I also think men are more likely to be loners than women. I think there is an evolutionary explanation for that in there somewhere.
Anyway, there won't be any parties at the Mech home soon .

W loves parties - throwing or going. Every year I have to endure her "Christmas Schmooze". None of the kids have ever had a birthday without a party. Even if it's just the family, it's a party complete with decorations, party hats, and what have you. She's a sucker for Pampered Chef, Tupperware, Mary Kay, or whatever. No Ann Summers parties though. Or lingerie parties either.

Actually you remind me of a bad Catholic girl I was good friends with in high school. We would get her older sisters to buy us beer and Playgirl. She was definitely more HD than me. She ended up having a long (for high school) relationship with the second guy I slept with after we broke up. However, he was nothing like MrHP. He wore skin tight jeans with no underwear and the only thing he liked better than weed was sex. Though he did end up joining the Marines so maybe there was some similarity.
