WB HD; Glad to hear that the vacation was mostly good. I did a week back in April with my W's family out in LA. And like you it was a no nookie vacation.
I say go for the beard and mustache, I've had mine for more than 12 years. The kiddo has never seen me in person without them and he just turned 10. My W wants me to try the goatee look, so I might do that this summer.
As for a quick summary of what happened while you were gone, there were no major crisises, however there is interesting stuff out there. I would suggest picking your favorite SSM threads and catching up with those and ignoring the rest.
