I read "The Enneagram Made Easy". I found it at a garage sale, of all places, for 75 cents!

It appealed to me because it approaches it in a very lighthearted way. Not that I am not a deepthinking person; it's just that a good joke goes a long way with me.

The most interesting thing about reading the book vs. reading a website devoted to enneagrams was that I realized that my first impressions of the types were mistaken. For instance, I had pegged Hairdog's wife (a Type 1) as someone that I wouldn't want to be around in real life because number one's think they're always right, etc. She sounded too rigid and demanding for me.

Upon reading the book, I realized that my favoritest sister (hope the rest of em never read this site, for a variety of reasons, lol), whom I speak to every day, and my best friend are both Type 1's. So, irl, I would probably like his wife very much.

anyway, good luck finding the books.
Did your H take the test to find out what type he is?
