Lou & SD,
I never thought Lou was a jerk, but I was concerned that I was the only one he seemed to post to on another forum and it always seemed very negative towards me. I think we have very different personalities and that may be why he rubs me the wrong way in some of his posts. I'm very light hearted and he's very serious.

Lou,As far as BB's shopping is concerned, it may be due to depression which I'm sure you've considered. I agree, it is a sickness of sorts. Kinda like, people who hang on to useless junk because it's still good???

Another thing is that I also love to shop, but not necessarily for myself. My XH used to complain about it also and my response was, "If I didn't like to shop, we'd have no clothes, no food, no furniture, towels, Christmas, etc." Somebody has to do it!!!!

Just food for thought.

RE Qoe100

I would say we do. My oldest sister might be a little like you, trying to have fun. I am the worker, making sure the basics are taken care of before the fun starts.

it always seemed very negative towards me
Not trying to be negative but trying to get you to see some good in people (bloke vs meatheads) I am sure there are many good natured 'blokes' where meatheads I would imagine have very few good qualities. I did not want Jo to get the idea anyone loooked down on 'blokes' in the US.

Lou,As far as BB's shopping is concerned, it may be due to depression
Yes depression was being medicated but that was about it. She never wanted to go to C and she was a mental health nurse. Spending was her way to have more fun. The infomersials always looked like people were having fun. How much fun can you get from 4 sets of cook ware?

Well, some of my stuff is junk to some people, especially BB. I do sell $400 worth of junk a week so someone thinks it's valuable. Many people would not take the time to learn how to repair the parts I work on. It's too dirty, too boring, you have to read technical manuals, you have to conduct experiments, you have to folow the logic of the machine's operating system, not your own logic.

I know when customers call they are up tight and when I service them they are happy to be working again and making money themselves.

If I didn't like to shop, we'd have no clothes, no food, no furniture, towels, Christmas, etc.
That sounds like you took care of people/things really well.

I buy my clothes and have too many. I buy food and have 3 months supply in the freezer and pantry. BB buys the furniture and we have enough for 2 or 3 households. I wont list her shoes, clothing and, jewelery. I wish infomercials and shopping channels never existed.

Qoe100 I do hope you find happness with or without someone special. I don't know about knocking your socks (saying) off with a kiss. Maybe melt your heart with the way he treats you? I have never been there. Maybe I am too practical.

Hi Lou,
Thanks, I hope you have happiness also.

I can't sleep. My dog's sitting at my feet whining because he thinks it should be bedtime and won't go without me. I have to be at work at 6:30. I think I'll go read some technical manuals until I get sleepy.

Thanks.

That works for me when I don't have the equipment/printer to work on in front of me. 6:30 sounds too early to be at work. That means you have to get up really early. Hay get some rest. We don't want sleepy drivers on the road.

I stay up late to see if anyone had a breakthrough and to get so tired I don't feel like I am missing out on something in the bedroom.

One of BB's 3 dogs does that to me. I trip over her because she is under foot often. She is such a hussy too. Rubs on me all the time when I sit down and turns herself inside out for attention. Why do I get so lucky with the wrong type of females?

Qoe100, you have more guts than I have. I would have never said anything about a blow-up doll on kml's thread. Her son has a high IQ and does not get into trouble. kml is hoping her S18 will learn some more social skills and to read people better while he is living in the dorm.

I am tired now 11:49 PM. Much better than the last several nights 2 and 3 AM.

Lou
