Kim,
Hey, good to hear from you! Refreshing to hear good news

You and your H have a mutual agreement going with this guy friend of yours and I'd keep the friend--can't get enuf friends. You have all the info and know what is best!

The OW thing will be hard. My H is thinking of going back to his. Whatever. It is some big hook they have in these men. I don't get it. Just be honest with your H and that leaving OW alone part of the change has to come from H. It would be nice if he could become totally disgusted with her. Time will tell. That is where you being so totally awesome will win out!
Have fun in TN. ROADTRIP-yeah. Let us know how it goes. Focus on FUN.

Ok I am back safe and sound. With over 50 hours of road time I am glad to be home.

We started of Sunday July 3rd to go to the flea markets in Ohio, that to me was a waste of time, I found nothing worth while. But it was fun anyhow. We stopped for the night in Cave City KY, we had a hard time finding a hotel that was not full, H did not understand that because it was a Sunday night, but just about everyone hd Monday off for the 4th. When we got going again in the morning we did a little site seeing we went to the Diamond Caver, REALLY cool, I gave H the camera, and he got some pretty cool picutres of the inside while we were on the tour. After we were done there we went to the Corvette museum, I think that is in Bowling Green but I am not sure. Wow that was not a place for H to have a camera either, I think that he could have filled two rolls of film there if we had it. But we really stopped because I have alway been a real fan of the Corvette. After we were done there we were off to scout out the first junk yard for the next day, which was just north of Memphis. Well neither of them had what we were looking for, so then we were off to Nashville. About two hours, I think, later we were in there. We were able to get some parts there, so the day was not a complete waste. That night we went to the Hard Rock Cafe, Coytoe Ugly, and the Wild Horse Saloon. It was the most expensive day on our trip, we go lots of t-shirts and stuff. The next day we were off to find more derby car parts, you see in the south they don't use salt so the cars don't 'rot' like they do in MI, and the parts are about the same too. When we stopped in Knoxville for the night we had been wanting to see a movie but by the time we got diner and found the movie theater all of them had started already so we scrapped that idea. Friday we finally got to a yard in Lousville that had what we were looking for in a car but the bad thing was it took us almost 4 hours to get out of the yard because of the owner, an older guy that actually reminded me of my dad, wanted to just talk, talk, talk. And he had an older tractor to move the vehicles around, it took him a while to get the tractor started. Friday night we stopped in Fort Wayne, we could have made it home that night but H was getting tired of driving, can't imagine why. So we headed for home in the morning. Then turned around Sunday morning to drive to Travers City to pick up D. LOTS and LOTS of driving, I don't know how truck drivers do it for a living.
We did have our problems during the trip, mostly with the way he was wanting directions to the different yards and cities. But I told him that he needs to be more specific when he is asking for something and talk a little clearer too. That solved a lot of problems. Also before we headed out again we looked at the map to see the best route together and always had to number to the yard we were heading to handy. H was always asking me during the trip well don't you want to do anything else. Most of the time it meant more driving, which at first I was worried that he would get tired of driving all the time, but he must not have be because if I wanted to see something and it was within a reasonable distance from the hotel he was game. All in all it was a very good thing for H and I to get away alone for while.

Hi Kim,
I am so proud of all you have done and how you have grown in your R with H. I like best that you quit thinking you knew what he was thinking and let him take you places. Now how cool is that. Another change, another success.
