Usually w/friends emails I just say 'take care' or 'talk soon'. With the ex (even b4 he was 'ex') it was just our initials at the end. and if i am in the pursuing mode, I sign it love you, or luv u or miss u. hmm. I will ponder that.
I have thought about just mentioning the money as an afterthought. "P.S. Money is in the bank, will try to put some aside so for s's bday. Do you have any ideas?"
I am thinking of getting son a bike this year, he outgrew his last one and it is still at dad's. So I thought about saying we could shop together when you make the visit, but don't want to keep bringing that up. or should I?
The need to retaliate is just from the anger I have over the div. Ex tries to blame me for it all being my fault, but that is his guilt trip and I need to not feed into that anymore. Yes, I am better than that, just have this urge to remind him lately!
