The only point I can add with my limited experience on the board is this. You must be prepared to be the man of her dreams and do all of the things you need to do as a husband, lover, father, no matter what you get back from her. You can no longer base what you do for her or with her on what you get back in return. As the others have said here, this will take time (months, year or years). To quote on of my favorite movies, "What are you prepared to do?"
