I think all Jenny was trying to say is that cheating, in our circumstances, is something that some people would expect would happen. That doesn't mean it should and it doesn't mean it's right by any means.

Right. I should note that my sister wasn't even condoning adultery when she said this. She is a very moral person in an ultra-left-wing way. She never cheats on her boyfriends. She somehow manages to dump them and still stay friends. She thinks my H is wrong-minded because if he doesn't want to have sex with me, he should agree to an open marriage if we want to stay together for the sake of the children.
