Yes, you were and I believe you are right. His reason for posting wasn't to work on the marriage at all. I feel he was looking for affirmation to leave the marriage. He struggles with decision making and I'm sure J was pushing him but I feel he wanted more support than just my two ex friends. Although in the end that was enough for him.
