Ouch!!! glad to hear they caught it before it burst. I hear you about the percocet, that stuff makes me loopy and pretty much oblivious. I can understand why you don't want to take it. What about Tylenol with Codiene? That stuff will take the edge off, and as long as you keep the dose minimal, it doesn't make you too loopy. I'm pretty sure it is OK with the baby too. Might be worth asking. If not, at least ask about how much regular tylenol you can take.
Le Mr HP wait on you hand an foot for a bit, you deserve it and you need to conserve your strength to recover. I'm sure he's a little stressed over the child care, but that is normal. It would be like you spending a few days filling in at a job that requires training but without the training. Fortunately, he's had the summary training and is only missing the intesive immersion session. He'll do fine. Enjoy the show
