I just got home. They found lesions on my uterus and took care of them but the biggest news was that I had an appendix ready to burst. So the doc ran to get a surgeon and did an emergency appendectomy.
I am tired but hanging in there. The worst of it is not taking any pain medication. I have a prescription but am trying to tough it out, due to baby still nursing. This poor child has had to bear the brunt of my sick self, practically since the day she was born.
At this point, I cannot even imagine nookie. Lack of it is A OKAY with me, lol. It hurts even to have baby laying on my abdomen when she eats.
A few more days and my spirits will improve, I'm guessing.

Honey! how good to "hear" your fingers typing on the keyboard! And all I can say about the appendix is: YIKES! Thank God (really) that the doc found it before it ruptured.
Get some good movies, something yummy to eat and soak up the TLC during your recovery. I know that the truth of the matter is that with baby Honey and the other kiddos you will get very little actual rest.
Glad that appendix got taken care of. No wonder you were hurting. Does that mean that the stuff they did with the uterus won't necessarily impact your fertility?

Wow...appendectomy and lesionectomy...two for the price of, well, two. Glad to hear that they caught your appendix before it 'sploded. They make an awful mess.
Having had a double hernia operation about a year ago, I can (somewhat) empathize with you on the pain. Of course, they didn't peer up inside my weiner with a speculum, and I came home and took ample amounts of hydrocodone.
I totally understand not feeling like having sex right now. It took me almost a week to start feeling resentful about not having any after my hernia repair.
