Just to clarify - the prince wasn't looking for a virgin, the monarchy was. Someone who was pure, who could carry on with children.

I don't agree with what he did. However, I do feel for him. Marriage was more of a duty for him, as opposed to something you do when you fall in love. Maybe he'd have married Camilla when he met her if he'd really been allowed to. His situation is not like ours. There are many around the world who can't just fall in love and get married because they want to. I guess he could have, but he'd not have been in line for the throne then, and would likely have upset the family very, very much.

He is neither hero or villain, just a man who finally married the woman who he has loved for 25 or 30 years.
