I thought you'd say that because of BB and her thinking this is a porn site.

Jo, One day it is a porn site nad the next day it is a chat-cheat site. BB heard some bad things about on-line chat rooms that's why I lean toward the public forum concept.

Congratulations on OW moving. That is another large drain eliminated from your withdraws from your marriage love-bank web page

O sharp minded one Jo and Mr.Jo (creative thinking people). The controceptives on the photo copier and the copier being the ultimate repoductive device. That was really good. I will have to say something like that to a friend that repairs copiers while pulling a condom or some pills out of the paper drawer.

Yesterday was tax day for us yanks and always end of last year and first 1/4 payment for this year tax bite, and one of the busiest days of the year for me so I did not read or post much. I also picked up something wrong and put my back into spasams. I could not get comfortable so had to lay down for part of the day. Much better today. This has been going on since 1981.

I noticed your mood dropping in the last couple of weeks.

I saw and felt it too Jo. I was doing too much of the R work while BB was satisfying one of her addictions. Sometimes I am too much of a fixer, of course I fix me last too many times. Customers first, then BB, then me. I have been sitting a little too long and have to walk to improve my back pain so have to end posting for now. Thanks for the reply and it is always interesting reading what you post.

I'm glad you're feeling better, you had me worried for a bit

You think I'm sharp minded? That's really sweet of you, hank you I think it's my counselling training and dream work I do as I learnt a bit about freud and when H moved the photocopier there I was trying not to laugh about the freudian symbolism of a photocopier in the bedroom and then of course later on when we became lovers again, he was complaining that everything would get really heated and then I'd stop him to say the contraceptives were in the bathroom cabinet

So I moved them and put them on top of the photocopier (haven't got a dresser) so that H wouldn't have to trundle off to the bathroom all the time and ruin the romance

He happened to think the whole contraceptives on the reproduction machine was really funny

Actually, that's one of the things he likes about me. I can come up with really funny things just off the top of my head - I think it's the writer in me too

When he said 'happy anniversary' last year, I didn't think 'yipee, we're getting back together' or even 'omg', I thought 'God, that's a good line!' - that's bad, isn't it?

Mr. Jo - that's not far off, just add 'nes' to the Jo and you get his real name, you see? we were made for each other!

Sorry about your back, I have a bad back too, and having osteopathy for it.

I hope things get better for you soon. I left a reply on Gabriels thread about the British and tea because he was asking me what the UK version of a Greek waiter was so I went off on a tangent about the whole race thing and answered your post as well - I'd just done jdd's and Gabriel's post and had to work so I couldn't answer on your thread.

Anyway, shutup Ioavva you talk the hind leg off a brass donkey No wonder he left me, eh?? I'd leave me for talking too much!

Yasue,

Jo.

Yes, feeling physically better as I can get up out of a chair w/o using my hands on the chair back to stand up. Emotionally better because BB is warming up a little and not talking about things she sees on the telly or in shops. I have to learn not to take her bait when she talks about shopping items. Amy magic cures or web sites for UTI's?

Jo. It is around 2AM here. My shift on the bb is about over. It's about 9AM in the UK. Are you ready to take over?

Cures for infections:

1. Tea tree oil baths (tea tree is a natural antiseptic) - 10 to 20 drops per bath. Lavender oil also does the same but is less strong. A midwife recommended this to me after childbirth to prevent infection.

2. natural yoghurt - get her to eat loads of it. Also those yoghurt drinks which enhance the immune system as they have friendly bacteria in, which she needs to fight off bad bacteria.
If an infection is already present, she can put natural yoghurt on a tampon and apply that internally and that will get rid of it (important: take the tampon out afterwards, it's just for applying the yoghurt, not for leaving in).

3. Loose clothing, organic underwear (as chemicals in cotton can sometimes irritate).

4. Reduce yeast in the diet, i.e, no marmite or things like that as this cn be a trigger for candida albicans.

5. Don't repeatedly use anti-fungal's etc as these can cause stinging etc. They are also a trigger factor for vestibulitis and other vulval disorders. They are okay for using to treat an acute infection as long as this isn't done repeatedly. If you find the vulval pain society in the UK (they're on the net) it will tell you more about this.

6. Drinking plenty of mineral water and cranberry juice (but the cranberry juice has to be sugar free or it doesn't work).

7. Green tea (this is anti-cancer). Boil water and make some green tea, leave teabag to cool for a bit then place while still warm on the vaginal opening (she might think you're nuts but it does help )

8. Enchinancea - immune enhancing herb will build her antibodies to infection. The tincture is better but tastes foul. There are slightly less effective tablets if she can't bear tincture. It has been used for centuries and was used by native American Indian's to prevent and treat illnesses.

9. On days where she has infection, tell her not to wear any underwear as it's less painful if you don't. This works okay if she's wearing some loose fitting pants (you call them pants, right?) but obviously doesn't work with a dress. I often don't bother with underwear and my symptoms ease or cease when I don't.

10. Wild yam creams for menopausal problems. Also used by American indians to restore balance and vaginal moisture following menopause. It is just for applying lightly to the vagina.

11. Pelvic floor exercises - these can strengthen the vagina and the urinary system. She just as to practise squeezing her vaginal muscles several times daily. The great thing about this is, no one knows you're doing it so she could even do it while out with friends etc.

It also improves the SL for both partners as the muscles are more toned. Psyhiotherapist's can teach more specific exercises on this. These can also help reduce pain (works with me).

12. Stopping or limiting use of sex toys.

13. Using a lubricant for MB and actual sex such as KY.

14. Use of allergy-free condoms can sometimes prevent infection (important they must be allergy free or the latex and chemicals can irritate). NO flavoured condoms, that would make it worse.

15. The on top position for your W. In this position she can control the depth of penetration and therefore ease pressure on the vagina and bladder.

16. ML in bath tub (with tea tree oil or lavender) as this can prevent infection, or shower and then use the washing process as a foreplay and post-sex activity.

Hope that helps,

Jo.

PS:

I forgot to mention, NO bubble bath in the tub, as the chemicals can irritate. Just use plain water with the oils. When washing, no shower gels etc on the vagina - either just plain water or limited use of plain soap.

Also, Arnica 200 can help stop pelvic pain. I will be trying this soon.
