I believe this too, though it's harder to figure out how to let your kids chooses to be religious if they want to when you aren't. I have to admit my effort were limited to telling the Grandmas that I wouldn't object of they wanted to take my babies to be baptized or enroll them in a Sunday school and giving them some bible story picture books to read when they were younger. We live in a bible-belty small town so my daughter because she is very social has often found herself in the midst of religious activities. This causes her some minor embarrassment because she feels like she doesn't know what to do because it seems obnoxious and overblown to say "I don't believe in praying around the school flag pole." but it seems disrespectful and wrong to "fake" a prayer when it's her turn in the circle.
