Hairdog, Your message certainly cheered me up. You have a way with words, I gotta tell ya.
I have no pain in the area you described. It is down VERY low..if I had to guess I would best pinpoint the bladder area. The lap showed a little bit of endometriosis but not enough to worry about. He showed me the 'lesions' he took care of (color photos of my insides, WHEN will the injustice end?!) and they meant nothing to me. (my internet degree is showing its limitations)
I think your advice to run to a GI is sound. I asked him yesterday at what point I should call him re: the pain. He said (irritably) Well you just had major surgery; I would give it a couple weeks or so for that to heal and then see how you are feeling. I replied, Well the pain is not coming from ANY of the incision sites which is why I asked.
He said, Call me in two weeks--no need to make an appointment--and I can give you the names of some GI specialists.
I am inclined to call today, since I may not be able to get in right away, kwim.
Ahhh, Nemo in front of a fire. I have to say that sounds pretty darn good. I had a crazy urge to sleep nekkid with MrHP last night and cuddle up to his warm and fuzzy body, but I changed my mind after a brief spell of nekkid tooth brushing. On with the sweatshirt and sweatpants, which is more clothing than I wear during the worst snowstorm. Brrrrr Maybe tonight I can pull off the nekkid slumber.
Thanks again for the advice. If I ever figure out what is the matter with me, I will raise my glass to you and MrsNOP and GGB and anyone else who has ever offered up a plausible possibility for me to ponder.
