Thank you for asking. I had a great time and will post about it later. It had a tragic ending that I was still present for and I am just processing right now.

I had to change my screen name, H came across this website. Seems he was "checking" on me. Anyway, I don't need to use my first name and make it easy for him.
Just touching base with you. Hugs, P

It was overall a pretty neat weekend the kids and I had.
I did have a good time although it ended on a very sad note. T's 15 year old sheltie had a stroke sometime Saturday, when she checked on her right before the last of us were leaving she was mostly comatose.
Hit me too close to home is probably part of it as Breeze didn't eat well, didn't drink too much and didn't want to go out to potty. It was COLD there and the house wasn't too warm either! I did not TAKE the right stuff to tempt B. I did take the Nutri Cal thank goodness. She fell down the whole flight of stairs. I didn't take such great care of her. I was packing my clothes and she was standing right beside me at least that is where she started! Our next trip I will pack differently for B!!!! She was pretty shaky when I got home. Got some bread, a bit of peanut butter and some baby food into her and she is steadier and was bark sassing this morning, so hopefully we are on our way back to normal for B!
I met some great people. Friday night I had taken cheesecake and champagne, T knew about what I had gone through and we toasted my new life.
The herding clinic was great!!!!!!
Sort of cool, sort of sad, Shara, who no one can believe is 11, T loved! Worked her 3 times and said if she had been started younger she would have been a trial champion. Which is cool to hear that is her opinion and sad to know it is too late to accomplish. T just happens to have the top herding sheltie in the country for 2004!!!
Callie is 15 weeks now and when M L and T took her in, they both went in, I am guessing to help control the situation. As soon as they set her down she was circling the sheep!!! It was so cool to see this tiny puppy out there circling the sheep, at least she looked pretty tiny next to the sheep.
I do feel I understand better after this seminar and hope to keep learning as it was awesome fun. I think I am Hooked!!!
Here is a link to some pictures that were taken at the clinic. Shara is the four that say blue dog, starting with being ornery. LOL https://netfiles.uiuc.edu/annfoley/www/

That is T the instructor and Shara listens to her much better than she does me! I THINK that is because Shara can tell that T knows what she is doing and I haven't a clue!
