I did it again! I made the moves just like I did the night before last and yesterday morning! Once again, she rejected me. Same arguements and karate moves. She accused me of trying to "trick" her. I told her, "No, I'm just trying to help us both out."
This morning, I followed the same protocol. She had to fight a little harder to resist...because I'm pretty "keyed-up" these days! She said, "Honey, I love you but we just can't do this." ILY!? I think she was sleepy. So, I told her, "I want YOU." That's all I said...not needy but lovingly.
So, here we are. Except one little extra nugget, when I kissed her good-bye after getting ready for work, she said ILY again. WHA!? HUH!? Could that be the softening you wonderful ladies have spoken about so frequently?
I'm trying to keep my expectations tamped...and to remain realistic. She's got a VERY strong will so she is still in the D mode. I plan to continue working at this...and I'm finding that I'm not as LD as I once was!!
