Stop feeling "stupid" over everything, and as everyone on this site will tell you, the "I love you but I'm not in love with you" speech (or "ILYBINILWY" for short) is something we've ALL heard (or a variation of it, such as, "I don't love you like a spouse should" ) and apparently it's mandatory speak from a WAS.
