I am SOOOO GLAD your story had a happy ending. Your poor scared kitty.
I think it is great that you looked for the reasons that your H might be so angry other than just take it he was angry at the cat. I'm afraid that is definitely what the old me would have done. I hope the new me would have looked at things a bit more like you did.
