HappyMomo, I am a SAHM, also. It is the greatest and hardest job you'll never earn any money at. Notice I didn't say get paid for. You get payment, but it isn't monetary. I have a theory that if all of us SAHMs got together and used our collective organizational skills and persuasiveness (who has to be more persuasive than a mom trying to get her toddler to "please use the potty before we leave") we could really affect some social change. We are performing a vital social service by raising up our children to be adults that are socially, spiritually, and emotionally productive. For this, we are often rewarded with second class citizenry and financial unstability.
HappyMomo, Sorry for my rant, but as far as the money issue goes, I hear ya sista! My boys will be in school full time next year and I will be back to work I will not accept any job that doesn't allow for me to get them off to school and be home for them at the end of their day.
I don't mind the sun sometime
The images it shows
I can taste you on my lips
And smell you in my clothes
Cinnamon and Sugar
And softly spoken lies
You never know just how you look
Through someone elses eyes
