When my boys are of an appropriate age, I want to introduce them to Monty Python. I want them to develope an appreciation for silly, cerebral humor. It can help them get through some of lifes rough patches.

On a side note, my 2nd grader came home telling me that he just had to see "Napoleon Dynamite" and that it was "so funny". I've seen "Napoleon Dynamite" and thought it was hysterical. Although it did not contain any inappropriate situations or profanity, I just did not think it was the type of movie that would appeal to a 2nd grader, ie there are no cartoons, bathroom humor or situations where someone has to play a card game to save the world.

Cinema-looking on the bright side.
