Bulldog,

I'm actually an author (I write health books) and a counsellor. I run my own helpline for people who have been injured by allopathic medicine and I sell these books I wrote and other books written by other people.

I go on TV/radio and in newspapers ocassionally where I am either being interviewed by the press about what I do or they sometimes have me in interviews with dr's and immunology people.
Sometimes they put me on a chat show and tell me to argue with another person about medical issues (increases TV ratings) so I argue on camera for 5 minutes, then go home.

I was supposed to be on 'The Right Stuff' once, but H was taking me to court that day so I had to cancel, I was most annoyed!

Some of the people who ring my helpline are very distressed so I trained in counselling to deal with it and worked at Rape Crisis for 2 years (I've got counselling skills certificate, person-centred counselling certificate and dysfunctional family therapy certificate).

I've been in a couple of medical journals before as well and basically wanted to heighten my knowledge of something I already do by getting this immunology qualification.
I intend to go on and study pharmacology as well so I can learn more closely how drugs act with each other.

On a personal front, I am also writing a book about me and H and this situation. I know from my experience of the media, that people love sex and court hearings - especially if they are both together so I thought I would try to see the positives and write a best seller.

I tested my friends out with it and they were hooked, they can't wait to read more, so I must be on to a winner.

H isn't terribly thrilled with the idea but grudingly accepts it. He says the last time I had an idea for something, I ended up on TV and when I print this book, his sex life will be all over the news (his words), LOL.

I have to say, I see the funny side of this.

Jo.
