In the spirit of the 2004 SSM Lessons Learned thread I thought it would be good to start a thread for people to post their goals for 2005.

List goals and/or the "indicators" that you've achieved them.

Make sure that these are SMART goals - Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic, Tangible.

Simply saying things like "get in shape" won't suffice. Instead think about it like this...."Get in shape" by "joining a gym within a month and visit 2x a week" and my results will be proven when "I can wear those jeans that don't fit anymore". This frames the goal with specific times, places etc. followed by "indicators" of success.

You will also need to be realistic about the fact that your spouse might not change one bit at all this year.
