I don't believe in unconditional love except possibly from parents to children. Didn't this come up last week on someone's thread.
I don't think anyone should have unconditional love for their spouse. If your spouse treats you badly year after year, love will surely die. It must. I remember in one of the Schnarch books a client said, "I'm asking myself why I want to ML so much to someone who doesn't want to ML to me."
