Thanks 2nd chances...I see through the "no one's gonna be as good as me" crap, and will call her on it if it comes up again. I think she threw it out there to try to show me how wonderful she is, and probably to let me know that every other woman out there is worthless, oh, and that I can't attract the worthwhile ones, as well. That's not the issue. I know that now. When she comes up with this stuff out of the blue, I just kind of don't know what to say (deer in the headlights).
As for TV...I realize its effects on the sex drive. I want to mention that "24" is the one show which I will be taping, and watching at work during lunch with two of my co-workers. So last night was the last night I will be watching it in real time for the rest of the season. There are no other shows which I "have" to watch, but sometimes I choose to watch certain shows W likes, like ER and West Wing, so that we can be together.
I've thought a bit more about the "school marm and recalcitrant student" comment from Ms.Nop yesterday. It really hit the target. I absolutely need to stop taking her crap and asking for more. I need to resolve to be pleasant but not subservient.
