Quiet but nice night last night...we went to the gym after I got home from work (hooray for us!) and then went out to a nearby (but untried) restaurant. Came home, played a few games of checkers and watched NYPD Blue.

H did a bunch around the house -- took out ALL the xmas/party/regular trash which was a TON. It was nice to drive up to the house and see it ALL out there! We also talked a bit abut $ and he mentioned wanting to make some errands easier for me (too cool). He also took the initiative to update our Quicken file (usually I do all that) so that's a very nice 180 from him! And, in the course of telling me about a decision he was making he said "I have a beautiful home, I love school, I have a beautiful wife I love and two beautiful babies (our cats)..." etc. You get the point!

Leaving in a few hours to do some errands in town. Going to meet h for a stiff drink around 8. Only working half a day tomorrow and then I'm off until the 3rd! Will be in town until Sunday (12/26) but then we're heading to NYC for a nice, relaxing break! Hooray!
