YES that is the same band and they are absolutely AWESOME, especially for those hopeless romantics out there. That song you mention 'Free' is one of my other favorites of theirs. It is off their album "Music for the People." I can't think of another song that captures the longing of the human heart any better.
The song I posted the lyrics to, "Flames", is more of a sex song ('just put me inside you' is pretty clear), but it still has that same sort of longing that is in every one of their songs. Just like the group Keane LFL and I have been discussing, VAST always makes me just cry my heart out every time I hear them.
You ought to go to their site www.realvast.com and just listen to their music samples. Again, if you are a hopeless romantic though, be prepared to have your heart wrenched out of you.
