Do women get turned on sexually when in water, or is that a male thing?

I have always mb'd in the tub. When I was quite young I read a book that gave instructions on how to orgasm by letting the water from the faucet fall on the clitoris. I didn't bother learning how to do it manually until many years later.

I think the odds of being injured by having sex underwater are pretty slim. Why would the vagina fill up with water in the first place? I think that even if you were going at it like manic monkeys only a tablespoon or two might get in. After all, the same action that was pushing it in would be drawing it out. The vagina is more like a plastic baggie with a narrow opening than a pop bottle. Also, the flesh surrounding the vagina is mostly made up of water too and would an opposing pressure. Finally, any sort of Kegel contractions would have the effect of pushing the water out more than drawing it in, IMO.
