Dear Maya - Same here - I cannot remember the number of times just reading your posts have lifted me - I guess we get what we put in; it's such a warm feeling knowing that I'm able to boost someone's feel-good, even for a while
Well, on to my next assignment - this is thanks to Wonder who wrote over at Betsey's thread
Quote: Seriously, though, I'm blessed with some friends who are committed to their own goals and make their livings helping other folks get there. So this is what they've helped me with for the past couple of years: 1. Ending the year by making a list of all you have accomplished--there must be at least 25 things, big or small. This year, I actually kept track on my computer all year long in a Word document. I needed a place to go for a momentum pick-me-up.
It's taken me about a week to pull this together - what a year! And of course, I just had to sort the accomplishments into categories
Relationship + discovered dbing, and this bb + held on to myself through an extremely traumatic experience
Personal + taking better care of myself, this is a conscious decision + got full medical, should be an annual event now + got diabetes under control- being unhappy got me off rich foods, I guess every cloud .... + partially revamped wardrobe - this is fun, and will be continued in 2005 + discovered brazilian waxing yeeow + up to date on dental stuff, phew + learnt to skate - an ambition of some 20 years
Sharing with NG + moved to a much nicer house + finding better basis for communicating + sold spare car - the one he squired ow in + sold loss making investment + sold poorly located apartment + basically consolidated and takjing stock, ready for fresh start
Work + got promoted at work + consequently, taking home more cash + enjoying work a lot more, colleagues are fun as we all get to know each other more
Family and Friends + had a FAB joint 40th birthday party with long time friend + made a couple of wonderful new friends in new neighbourhood + enjoying better connection with friends and family + feel GREAT about cyber friends on this BB
All the bad stuff that did not get addressed this year, well, they will just have to be goals, as appropriate, for 2005. But that's for another day. Wonder, you are so right - just listing the good stuff is amazing, I feel better
