Slowly, I haven't posted to you in awhile, but I have been lurking. I agree with Bets on this one. Confront him and if he did lie you may find out why. If he didn't lie you will be more apt to believe him the next time. Just be tactful and considerate when you do confront him. I know you will anyway.
