I'm not a regular Red Sox fan (I'm a Braves fan), but I was pulling for the Sox as soon as they got in the ALCS. Last night, at a NYC bar, there were as many Sox fans as Yankees fans! And Sox fans were cheering the loudest. It got hairy around Pedro Martinez's stint (weren't the Who's your Daddy taunts AWFUL?!), but at the end it was really fun to be in a bar in NYC yelling for the Red Sox.
S., as a die-hard Yankees fan, was beside himself, but we had a great time taunting each other.
I thought of you, and of Merrick (whom I spoke to on the phone from the stands right after the game)...
You're going to have so much fun at the game! So jealous!
