Our wedding is a few weeks away - and thankfully I feel I finally have a handle on things. It will be a very simple wedding - I am not interested in being "princess for a day" or anything like that. It is going to be more expensive than we'd planned - I was hoping to stay under $1500 at the outset, but it will be over $3000.00 (including everything). That is even with me buying the cake and flowers at the Warehouse Club (that will be very inexpensive), and doing our own invites and such.
I've had to really adjust again to not doing things just for myself - and it can be hard sometimes. But it's worth it. We really take care of each other in some ways, and I like that. But I'm making sure to make time for friends, and have my own life - I can't let myself be only dependent on any one person for my happiness.
