It's been two weeks since I've posted in my own thread - it's been really busy, with moving and such.
Our wedding is getting closer, and I am so glad I found a place that makes it easy. But the wedding dress part has been hard. I was debating getting one - and I eventually found one online for a great price that looked pretty. Well, the shipping company supposedly delivered it to this address - the front office signed for it (I just found out today that it was supposedly delivered last Wednesday) - but there is no sign of it anywhere. The apt. front office will sign for things without seeing the delivery, and the delivery companies just store the items. That doesn't seem right to me.
I am asking the delivery companies to not delivery anything to the front office now. In this case, there wasn't any sign that the company even came to our apt. to try to deliver the dress. They also didn't put the information in the delivery log in the office that they delivered anything for me. And there is nothing in the storage closet.
Sorry, just venting. I don't have long to get this taken care of, and I don't understand why the complex signs for things without even making sure they are really delivered.
Otherwise, things have been going good - just busy unpacking and such.
