You might not be happy with someone like me either. I feel free to do whatever I like with my money and time too. I just make different choices than most people. I would never spend $5200 on a television (This would be the equivalent of Barney's wife doing some sex act so outre that only 10 people in Hong Kong and San Francisco have tried it.)in fact one time our TV broke and I didn't replace it for a year until I found a perfectly good one by a dumpster, but if I had some extra money in the bank, I would probably quit working for a while and spend time on a non-profitable hobby or project or traveling. If my H complained, I would say "You are the one who likes Evian, cable TV and nice cars, so you are the one who needs to pay the piper.". This is why my H and I have separate checking accounts. He doesn't want to know how little I make and I don't want to know how much he spends.
