I am not going to other-validate individually...just wanted to say you're a fine-looking, genuine, real group of people ( and so intelligent and insightful too) who have helped me more than you realize. I am not a computer person at all and am really happy I somehow landed here. IHJ
I'm definately not famous...I made it onto the team because I happened to know how to build killer websites. I'm like the team manager who get's his picture with the team. I don't race in the same class as our top riders and this year has been a bust because of my dad and the interruption to training.

I look like cr*p in appliqued sweatshirts and elastic waist jeans. The picture is a bit misleading since I am usually far too lazy to do my hair "a la Farrah" and put on mascara. Also, I do not allow myself to wear the black stretch hipsters pictured outside of my house. The white stretchy t-shirt is one of my wardrobe favorites ever since the incident a few monthes ago when my H rejected me and I went out front in that t-shirt and got one cat-call and two honks.
Corri,
I am glad that you confirmed my believe that my H is lucky that I am monogamous. How long do you think I will have to spend in the biker bar on my 40th bday if my H isn't willing?

Like Journey, I'll refrain from individual comments, but I do have a general one. I don't know what I expected, but I've really been struck by how normal everybody looks. I don't know, somehow it seems like our difference should show. I know that I, myself, have commented that anyone not spending time in our bedroom with us would never guess that W and I aren't a perfectly normal couple with a perfectly normal SL. But at some mental level I just feel that we are different, so we should look different. Am I the only one?
BTW, I'll see if I can scrounge up a picture of us. W lost the digital camera last fall and I haven't replaced it yet, but other than me losing some weight, we look pretty much the same. I'll see what I can find.

I know what you mean. That is why I decided to post my picture after I saw the first few. If we all did have a real life meeting sometime, we could easily pass for a group trying to pass a school millage or preserve a local wetland. However, it is a bit surprising to see each individual picture. We would probably seem more like our writing if we actually met in person. I used to meet a lot of authors and they usually seemed much more like their books in person than on their jacket photos.

Quote: No comments on what you all think I look like? Really? Bummer.
OK. I'll jump in here. I was WAY off on my mental picture of you. You said you are 5'6", but I had you pegged for much shorter - maybe 5'1" or 5'2". You said brunette, but I had you pictured as a redhead. Not real red, but more of an auburn or maybe titian kind of red. You said athletic build gone soft; I had you quite petite. And of course I had you down as a down-to-earth, straight-shooter type of personality that generally enjoys life, but is one of those people that you really don't want to cross.
