Conversely, I don't believe I have ever met a pilot of any aircraft, be it full size or model, that didn't like women - a lot :-) Well, except for female pilots. They mostly like men, but I am sure that some like women too :-]

I wouldn't say "it's all over" the board... there are maybe 2 or 3 of us here, and that's at least similar to the percentage of the general population who is into it. It's a vanishingly small percentage. Most are into Radio Control. I place myself into an even tinier category by flying Control Line. Chances are, if you looked around, you'd find a club in your area. However, if you don't look, you most certainly won't find...
just poking in to say congrats...it's hard to tell from the pic if your smile is for the plane or the recent amount of nookie. That looks like a nookie smile.

I did CL for a while back in the early/mid 70's. My last control line plane was a Sterling model (I think) but I can't remember which one. It had a tissue and dope covering (yellow), with a KB .35 engine. I spent many hours constructing it, only to have a girlfriend (later to become my wife) try to fly it, at my insistence. She did pretty good for a half circle, until the model nosed into the ground behind her. I asked her (screamed) why she didn't turn around, and she told me that she thought that you didn't have to, that I was just doing it to show off.... :-0
Oh well. That was my last CL model, but I still have the engine!

You might want to check on Ebay for what that engine is going for these days... you could pick up some extra change. Lots of interest in the vintage engines - people still fly them. Most of my engines are old McCoy and Fox 35's, although I am picking up one or two more modern engines lately (OS 25FP, OS 35FP). My big heartbreak this year was totalling a Smoothie I had spent 2 years building. Tried to do an outside loop, wasn't ready...(sigh)
What NOPkins said I didn't become a pilot until after S14 was born though (it was the first I had the money to do it, and by then W was already in the spend whatever you want mode.
MJ, I am also interested to know that ...I am HDW and my two most prominent interests are sports, although I am most involved in basketball and cars. That tends to sound a bit masculine, but that is how I was brought up and they give me lots of pleasure.
I bet you can all guess what I would like my numero uno pass-time to be though. Just not happening at the moment, but my copy of PM is on it's way in the postmans big bag.
