Wow, SD, that is GREAT to hear! Fantastic success story. Keep in mind, you may have your ups and downs, so don't get discouraged if there is some backsliding... it is all but inevitable. Just don't YOU backslide. You know what works and what doesn't. Keep at it. Make it a lifestyle choice. I'll remind you of something you said to ME back in (was it only) April when I first read PM and expressed my enthusiasm at the possibilities... it was something to the effect that I was letting myself in for a big fall... remember what I have to work with (NDW), etc.. blah, blah.. So glad you were able to see beyond that once YOU read the book.

For myself, we've been in a dry spell since Jul 28 or so, but the difference is, I'm not so uptight about it, because I realize WHY it is... and I have as much to do with it as her. Things have just been really busy, and not conducive to LM, but I know it will happen soon, and we'll get into a rhythm. I, too, feel like the old SSM days are pretty much gone, and I also feel hopeful for the future in a way I would not have dreamed of just a few months ago.

Keep on, SD, Keep on...

honeypot,
Thanks for this insight into how the wrong attitude is a total turn off even for an HD woman!
You must be a lovely shape now. How many weeks have you got before baby day?

Blimey! Who is that bloke with the plane? (Little does SD know that we have been having a mini-debate on the SSM board about showing our true faces.) Very handsome, nice lines, looks like a joy--the plane, that is.

Is that your house behind you? Very nice.

Hi Super!
Great picture...I know nothing about planes but the rest of it looked wonderful!

I have 4 weeks, as of today. Getting anxious. I still feel pretty good, physically, but mentally/emotionally I am getting sick of people staring at me and striking up conversations with me about it. I don't know why...lots of women love this but I have detested it with all 3.
Even when they are stopping to compliment me I just want to say, "Oh shut up and leave me alone."

Nice plane Dave! That looks like a .40 size pattern ship.

I used to fly models a lot, but no time for it in the past 7 years or so.

I still own a .60 size helicopter, a full size Telemaster with a .90 and a half gallon fuel tank. That thing will stay airborne for a while. I have a few other others, mostly pattern style. Back in the late 80's, I did some contest flying.

I still love models. I wish I had more time. There is something about tossing a model around the sky pulling g-forces that would kill a pilot that just does the soul good :-)

I have been flying full size since 1976. At one point I got heavily into aerobatics, almost bought an Extra at one point. I discovered that I loved being upside down at 3,000 feet, but not inverted at 10 feet over the runway in an airshow :-) I also can't believe how much worse 7 g's hurt at my current age as opposed to 9 g's 14 years ago :-)

Anyway, sorry to get so far off topic. I would love to hear a bit about your experience. Has your wife ever been involved in your 'habit'?

Also, I want to hear details about the new relationship with you and wife!

All the best,
-NOPkins-

So what's the deal with all the HD guys and flying airplanes??
I don't believe I've ever met a person IRL who flies planes and it is all over this board...

Is there a connection between model airplanes and libido cause, if so, I think I need to re-assess what my plans are for H's Christmas present.

HP,
You can always see what he thinks about model rockets. They're much more phalic and if number 3 is a boy, that would be a fun hobby.
