What a combination--prayers and praise! See how good life is in my neck of the woods?
I'm going to make this brief because I'm exhausted and I have to pick up D10 soon to take her to her school ice cream social and to meet her new teacher. Then a quick trip to D7's school for her popsicle social and to see her new classroom (she has the same teacher--thank goodness).
We just got home from her endoscopy. She's a little grumpy but otherwise okay. She's got more ulcers and they did a biopsy of them and put a wireless probe into her stomach for 24 hour reflux monitoring. We have a follow up appointment in a few weeks, but he'll be calling me sooner than that with the big news.
GD1, I was snoozing when you phoned last night. I actually crawled in bed shortly after 8 because this stuff is mentally exhausting. Too bad D7 had no desire to snooze... But I really was trying. I really need some sleep at some point!
I'll try to answer my e-mails over the course of the next 24 hours. I'm going to be home with D7 tomorrow, trying to keep her activity level down and make sure she wears the transmitter that is in her fanny pack. She's less than thrilled now... can only imagine how she's going to be by tomorrow!
That's it for now. I've got to go keep an eye on my wild child...
