Hi totite,

Thank you very much for the Birthday wishes.

I hope the vet figures it out soon as well. It is just so frustrating not knowing what to do for her and I know when she is pacing and crying she isn't feeling well.

Actually thinking about moving brings me down so trying NOT to focus on moving. I agree it is just going to have to take time to see if a friendship will work or not. He does appear to be trying to work at it though, harder than he did the marriage anyway.

Good deal on already sleeping that long. It is always a good feeling when you get to stop those nightly trips outside.

I am working on declutering some as I pick out what I am moving.

So why does being sleepy make me feel edgy?

I feel like I need to get up and do something and at the same time like I could lay down and go right to sleep.

Well, I really liked my house at the walk through tonight!!

So I am excited again. I just hadn't been to see it in awhile. Had sort of crawled into my cave here at PK.

But I do believe I am going to like my house very well.

So I have picked out this neat 4 poster white bed. My mom and dad's dresser and chest she gave me are an odd color, not sure what to call it but I think white is what would go best with it.

No, can't buy the bed yet, but found picture of it and it looks neat.

Hi Pam - Sorry I missed your birthday, I wish you a good year ahead

We have been in the new house for 5 weeks now, and the list of things to be done seems to be growing all the time, despite all the work we have already completed. Keeping us busy and entertained though. Still not sold the flat, which is begining to be a worry.

I really like your two articles at the begining of this thread - such a good reminder of what we are all about. And yes, Ellie's articulate dose of reality...

Hi Karen,

Breeze seems to be doing a bit better. She has slept all night the past two nights!!!! I was needing it so glad she did.

Hi PIB,

I just am trying to process lots of thoughts and emotions right now.

My closing didn't happen yesterday because the appraisal isn't to the mortgage company yet. No idea why, but no new closing date scheduled yet.

Wondering if anyone is interested in a weekend in Southern IN the first part of Oct.?

Cabin

This one is new but the one D and I stayed in a couple of years ago was great!

Hi Pam,

Have you ever been to another DB get together? I have seen a few mentioned on the board, but mostly east and west coast, maybe one in Michigan.

The cabin thing does look great but it says they are 2 1/2 hrs from Indy which means 5 hours away from where I am.

Do you know other Hoosier DBer's?

I might be up for something a little closer to me.

I am glad your doggie is better, I have a sick kid today.

Hi Pam,

No I have never been to one of the DB get togethers. The only other DBer I have met was Kevin and he and his wife got back together and he doesn't post anymore. He came up to see about getting a sheltie puppy that I had.

Zoo is probably an hour or so from me in IN and she is the only one I know of.

Maybe you could get together with someone to come down for a weekend.

Where is Deb at, maybe could talk her into coming as well.

It is so peaceful there on the river. We were there in January and D and I had a nice time. Some of it was rather poignant, as he seemed rather emotional. Now looking back I assume that is because he was planning to file for divorce and did so in March of that year.
