Of course. The other day I was talking to my H about his pessimistic attitude and his reply was "I know I have a tendency towards pessimism, but you are like that phrase they used to describe the stock market "irrationally exuberant". However, I'm more of a worrier when it comes to the kids. I think my H thinks it's my job to worry in that area so he doesn't. That said, I'm really not a worrier and I don't think it's good to worry about kids too much. Of course, I don't have as much to worry about as some parents since my kids are extremely healthy and I live in the kind of small town where it isn't unusual to see young children downtown by themselves buying ice cream.
